उत्तर
- Duplet Rule: For an atom to achieve stable electronic configuration it must have 2 electrons in the first shell [outermost if it is K– shell] like nearest noble gas Helium.
- Octet Rule: For an atom to achieve stable electronic configuration it must have 8 electrons in outermost orbit like that of noble gas other than Helium. i.e. Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe, Rn.
