उत्तर

Given:

From the equation:

a = 1

b = `2sqrt3`

c = −1

Substitute the values:

D = b2 − 4ac

`D = (2sqrt3)^2 - 4(1)(-1)`

= 4 ⋅ 3 + 4

= 12 + 4

= 16

Discriminant D = 16 > 0

And D is a perfect square

The roots are real, distinct, and rational.
