The survey showed that many people faced transportation problems and long queues at polling stations. Some voters also lacked enough information about the candidates and voting process. To improve voter participation, mobile polling booths could be arranged in remote areas, along with voter awareness campaigns and community programmes. Longer voting hours and better transport facilities could also make voting easier. In addition, making polling stations more accessible for persons with disabilities would help ensure that everyone can participate in elections.
