There was a lot of competition and fighting between political parties after 2004, but these three things seemed to be consistent across most of them:

1. There were new rules for the economy.
2. And the social and political rights of the backward castes were also taken into account.
3. There was agreement on the importance of state-level parties in government, and it was emphasized that building political alliances based on shared ideologies should be based on practical issues rather than ideological ones. Politics was now mostly based on agreements that the big political parties didn't say out loud.
