उत्तर
The core of the earth is the innermost layer of the earth located below a depth of about 2,900 km. It is the densest layer with a density of about 13 g/cu cm and is mainly composed of the heavy metals Iron (Ferrous) and Nickel, which is why it is also called NIFE (Ni + Fe). The core has a diameter of approximately 3,500 km and temperatures around 5,000°C, similar to the surface temperature of the sun. This high temperature increases toward the center of the earth.
