उत्तर

Report on Crop Fields and Farm Animals

  1. Crops grown through vegetative propagation:
Farmers grow sugarcane, potato, ginger and banana through vegetative propagation.
  2. Crops grown using seeds:
Farmers grow wheat, rice, maize, peas and pulses using seeds.
  3. Indigenous and hybrid seeds:
Farmers use both indigenous and hybrid seeds. Indigenous seeds are locally adapted, while hybrid seeds often give higher yields. Hybrid varieties are developed through controlled cross-pollination between selected parent varieties.
  4. Indigenous and hybrid breeds of farm animals:
Indigenous breeds include Gir and Sahiwal cattle. Crossbred cattle include Karan Fries and Frieswal. Indigenous breeds are generally more adapted to local conditions, while crossbred cattle often produce more milk.
  5. Uses of asexual and sexual reproduction in agriculture:
Asexual reproduction helps farmers produce identical plants quickly and preserve desirable qualities. Sexual reproduction produces genetic variations and helps develop improved crop varieties.

Conclusion:

Both asexual and sexual reproduction are important in agriculture as they help improve crop production and quality.
