Measures Taken for Disaster Management in Our School

Our school takes several important measures for disaster management and the safety of students and staff. Fire extinguishers are placed at suitable locations, and first-aid boxes are kept ready to provide immediate medical help. The school conducts fire drills, earthquake drills and evacuation drills so that students know how to react during an emergency. Emergency exits and safe evacuation routes are clearly marked, and students are taught not to panic or push others while leaving the building.

Teachers and school staff are given specific responsibilities to guide and supervise students during an emergency. Students are taken to a safe assembly area after evacuation, where attendance is checked to make sure everyone is safe. Emergency contact numbers of parents, hospitals, fire services and other authorities are also kept available.

The school regularly checks buildings, electrical connections, fire safety equipment and other facilities to reduce the chances of accidents. Students are also taught basic safety rules, such as staying away from windows during an earthquake and not using lifts during a fire. These measures help the school to prevent disasters, reduce damage and protect the lives of students and staff.
