⇒ `[(2x - y),(3x)] = [(10),(6)]`
Comapring, we get
3x = 6
⇒ x = `(6)/(3)` = 2
and
2x – y = 10
2 x 2 – y = 10
⇒ 4 – y = 10
⇒ –y = 10 – 4 = 6
⇒ y = –6
∴ x = 2, y = –6.
