Briefly explain one Legislative power of the President of India.

A bill passed by Parliament becomes law only after receiving the President’s assent. The President has the power to summon or dissolve Parliament and to address its first sitting after a general election. When Parliament is not in session and immediate action is required, the President may issue ordinances that have the same force as law.
