उत्तर
BMI can also be measured at clinics, hospitals, health centres and some pharmacies or fitness centres. Whether it is available at a school depends on that school.
The personal entries cannot be completed without your measurements:
- My Height = measure and record your height in metres.
- My Weight = measure and record your weight in kilograms.
- My BMI = calculate using the formula below.
\[\text{BMI}=\frac{\text{weight in kg}}{(\text{height in m})^{2}}\]
The supplied text gives a normal BMI range of 18–25, overweight as more than 25 and less than 29, and obese as more than 30. You need your own measurements to decide which category to tick. For adolescents, BMI is generally interpreted using age- and sex-specific growth charts, so ask a health professional for an appropriate assessment.
