- It makes them understand the severity of the problem and its implications for the future.
- It makes them realise that it's high time that they should take serious steps to protect mother nature
- It encourages them to come up with various measures on a personal level for protecting the environment. e.g. reducing the use of plastic, engaging in afforestation activities, insisting parents properly dispose waste at home etc.
- It also enables them to understand the importance of sustainable development.
In short, Environmental Education is the need of the hour and would aid in the protection of the environment.
