Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq established the Tughlaq dynasty in AD 1320. He was an able, visionary, tolerant administrator, reformer who prioritized public welfare, introduced reforms, brought stability, was a strong military leader, popular among his subjects, and built the fort of Tughlaqabad in Delhi. He was succeeded by his son Muhammad bin Tughlaq.
