The Lodhi (Lodi) dynasty, an Afghan (Pashtun) house founded by Bahlul Lodi, was the last ruling dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate, with Sikandar and Ibrahim Lodi as notable rulers. Their rule (1451–1526) ended when Babur defeated Ibrahim at Panipat, ushering in Mughal rule.
