उत्तर

As a tropical plant, rice needs a lot of heat and humidity. It thrives in regions with an average annual rainfall of 150 cm and a mean monthly temperature of 24 °C. In regions with rainfall of less than 100 cm, it is mostly an irrigated crop. The country is actually divided into two large agricultural zones by the 100 cm isohyte. The rice zone is mostly the area that receives more than 100 cm of rainfall, whereas the wheat zone is primarily the area that receives less than 100 cm. Loamy or deep-fertile clayey soils are thought to be the best for growing rice. In river deltas and flood plains, rice is the main crop. It takes a lot of work to grow rice successfully.
