उत्तर
S.P. of the T.V. set = Rs. 6800
Loss = 15%
(i) ∴ C.P. `=("S.P" xx 100)/(100 - "loss"%)`
= Rs. `(6800 xx 100)/(100 - 15)`
= Rs. `(6800 xx 100)/85` = Rs. 8000
(ii) In second case, gain = 12 %
∴ S.P. = `("C.P."(100 + 12))/100`
= Rs. `(8000 (100 + 12))/100`
= Rs. `(8000 xx 112)/100`
= Rs. 8960
