उत्तर

Area of sector = `theta/(360°) xxpir^2`

`= (90°)/(360°) xx 314 /100 xx 10 xx 10`cm2

= `1/4 xx 314 ` cm2

`= 157/2` cm2

= 78.5 cm2

Area of the major sector = [Area of the circle] - [Area of the sector]

= `pir^2 - 78.5  "cm"^2`

`= [314/100 xx 10xx10 - 78.5]`cm2

= [314 − 78.5]cm2

= 235.5 cm2
