∴ `4y+4/y=10` 

⇒`4y^2-10y+4=0` 

⇒`4y^2-8y-2y+4=0` 

⇒`4y(y-2)-2(y-2)=0` 

⇒`y=2  or   y=2/4=1/2` 

⇒ `4^x=2  or  1/2` 

⇒`4^x=2^2x=2^1  or  2^(2x)=2^-1` 

⇒`x=1/2`   or `x= -(1)/2`
