First, we do same denominator.

We get, `- 3/4` and `(-2 xx 4)/(1 xx 4)`

⇒ `(-3)/4` and `(-8)/4`

Now, comparing both numbers,

`(-3)/4 > (-8)/4`

⇒ `(-3)/4 > -2`

So, `- 3/4` is greater than –2.
