Multimedia is an entertaining audio-visual feature popular in computing. It combines audio with images, graphics, and animation, allowing the playback of audio/video CDs and storage of digital data. Multimedia is used in applications like video games and training tools.
Sound Card Characteristics
A sound card is essential for multimedia, with its quality depending on sound creation methods and resolution. There are 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit cards; 8-bit is for basic game sounds, 16-bit for good multimedia, and 32-bit for specialized applications.
