Subject : Complaining about irregular water supply in remote areas
Sir,
I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities through the column of your esteemed newspaper towards the problem of water supply in the remote areas of Himachal Pradesh. It has been observed that people have to travel long distance to get clean and safe drinking water as the water supply here is irregular and the supplied water which people hardly receive is muddy, bad and smelling which is unsafe for drinking. Many people are suffering from water – borne diseases.
In this connection we have complained to the local authorities but in vain. As per my observation. I would request you to ensure that regular water supply should be provided to all the people living in such remote areas even though it has certain regular timings of 2 – 3 hours in a day. Also, the water supplied should be clean and safe for drinking as people are facing lot inconvenience due to this. I, therefore request the higher authorities to look into this matter and take necessary action immediately.
Thanking You.
Yours truly,
Rama / Krishna
