उत्तर

  1. 7 Crore Years Ago (Lemur to Monkeys): Human ancestors evolved from lemur-like animals, which gave rise to monkey-like creatures around 7 crore years ago.
  2. 4 Crore Years Ago (Loss of Tail): In Africa, the tails of these monkey-like creatures disappeared, their brains grew larger, and they evolved into ape-like animals.
  3. 2 Crore Years Ago (Human-like Line): These apes split into two lines. One line led to modern apes (gorillas and chimps), and the other line led to human-like animals around 2 crore years ago.
  4. First Record (Ramapithecus): Due to a dry climate and fewer forests, these apes came down from trees to land. Their posture became erect (straight), freeing their hands. Ramapithecus from East Africa was the first record of this human-like animal.
  5. Wise Man (Neanderthal Man): Human evolution progressed from Australopithecus to Homo erectus. Later, Neanderthal man evolved around 1 lakh years ago, which is considered the first example of a ‘wise man’ (intelligent human).
  6. Modern Man and Culture (50,000 Years Ago): Around 50,000 years ago, Cro-Magnon man (modern Homo sapiens) evolved. After this, cultural evolution started as man began agriculture and animal rearing and built civilisations.
