Biodiversity has the following three types:

1. Genetic diversity: The occurrence of diversity among the organisms of the same species is genetic diversity.
   Ex. Each human being is different from others.
2. Species Diversity: Innumerable species of organisms occur in nature. This is called species diversity. Ex. Various types of plants, animals, and microbes.
3. Ecosystem Diversity: It refers to variation in ecosystems present in nature. These ecosystems are formed by the interaction between plants, animals, their habitats, and environmental changes. Their are two types of ecosystems: Natural and artificial.
