- Monsoons are a complex meteorological phenomenon .
- These winds originates due to the seasonal migration of planetary winds and pressure belts following the position of the sun.
- During summer they blow from South west to North east ( South West monsoon) June-September and from the North east to South west (North East monsoon) October and November.
