On the other hand, excessive noise, heat, pollution and overcrowding may lead to stress, irritation, aggression, anxiety and poor performance. For example, constant noise can disturb sleep and concentration, while overcrowding may increase tension and conflicts.
3. The social environment also affects behaviour. Family relationships, neighbourhood conditions and school atmosphere influence a person’s attitudes, emotions and adjustment.
4. However, the environment’s effects are not the same for everyone. Personal characteristics, coping ability and past experiences also influence responses.

Thus, human behaviour results from continuous interaction between the individual and the environment. Therefore, a healthy and supportive environment is important for positive behaviour and psychological well-being.
