Histrionic Personality Disorder is a mental condition marked by a persistent pattern of excessive emotionality and attention-seeking behaviour. People with this disorder constantly desire to be the center of attention and feel frustrated or irritated if they are ignored or not given enough attention.

They may go to great lengths to gain attention, such as:

• Speaking in public or attending events to stand out.
• Dressing unusually or using physical appearance and sex appeal to draw others’ focus.
• Promoting themselves through media or public platforms like radio and TV.
• Giving lectures or trying to show off their abilities just to attract attention.

Although they may appear confident, skilled, and attractive on the outside, deep down they often lack self-confidence and crave approval and acceptance from others.
