In the given figure, there are two cuboids are joined.
∴ Total surface area of the given solid
= 2(24 × 12 + 12 × 12 + 12 × 24) + 2(12 × 12 + 12 × 12 + 12 × 12) – 2(12 × 12)
= 1440 + 864 – 288
= 2016 cm2
