उत्तर
The image formed on the diaphragm of a pinhole camera is inverted because light travels in straight lines.
Light rays from the top of the object pass through the small pinhole and fall on the lower part of the diaphragm. Similarly, light rays from the bottom of the object fall on the upper part of the diaphragm.
Since these rays cross at the pinhole, the image formed on the diaphragm appears upside down or inverted.
