उत्तर
Silver chloride is a white solid. However, it is very sensitive to sunlight and decomposes in the presence of light to form silver (grey in colour) and chlorine.
\[\ce{2AgCl_{(s)} ->[Sunlight] \underset{Grey}{2Ag_{(s)}} + Cl2_{g)}}\]
In order to avoid action by sunlight, it is kept in a coloured bottle.
