उत्तर
Reasons for the break-up of the Bahamani Kingdom:
- Religious intolerance weakened unity in the kingdom.
- Constant wars with neighbouring kingdoms exhausted the state.
- The rulers adopted a pleasure-seeking lifestyle and neglected administration.
- There were frequent quarrels between the Deccani and Irani (foreign) nobles.
- Later Bahamani rulers were weak and incompetent.
- After the death of Mahmud Gawan, there were no able ministers to control the administration.
- As a result, the Bahamani kingdom disintegrated into five independent states, Bijapur, Golkunda, Ahmednagar, Berar, and Bidar.
- These states were later conquered by the Mughal Empire.
