उत्तर

C. Raja Gopalachari (often called Rajaji) refused to participate in the Quit India Movement because he believed that launching a mass struggle during World War II would weaken India’s position and hinder the chances of gaining independence peacefully. He felt that the movement would be misused by enemies of democracy, and he instead supported the idea of negotiating with the British for India's independence. His stance led to a difference with the Congress leadership, especially with Mahatma Gandhi.
