उत्तर
An aqueous solution of ionic compounds is able to conduct electricity because, in an aqueous solution, the strong force of attraction between ions is overcome by water molecules. Their constituent ions get separated and become free to move across the solution. Due to this ion movement, the aqueous solution conducts electricity.
