What is a time card?

The time card or clock card is the most commonly used wage record in large factories. Each worker is given a separate card. A time recording machine is placed at the factory entrance, and whenever a worker arrives or leaves, they insert their card into the machine, which prints the exact time on it. The time card records the hours worked by each individual on a weekly basis. A new card is issued every week. The time card can be designed with rules and prints to accommodate any business needs, allowing for the tracking of both regular and overtime hours.
