The Eightfold Path is the central teaching of Buddhism given by Gautama Buddha. It is the path to end suffering (Dukkha) and to attain Nirvana, a state of peace and liberation from the cycle of birth and death. It forms the fourth part of the Four Noble Truths and shows the right way of living to achieve enlightenment.
