उत्तर

When the quantity demanded of a good increases or decreases due to a change in its own price, while all other factors like income, consumer preferences, and prices of related goods remain constant, it is called a change in quantity demanded. This type of change is shown as a movement along the same demand curve (DD). A movement downward along the curve from point A to point B, caused by a fall in price, is referred to as an extension of demand. Conversely, a movement upward from point A to point R due to a price increase is called a contraction of demand.
