उत्तर

Lyophobic sols are colloidal solutions in which the dispersed phase has little or no affinity for the dispersion medium, making them unstable and requiring special techniques for preparation. They coagulate easily and are irreversible upon mixing with the medium again. They need stabilizing agents to remain in the sol state longer. These colloids are also called irreversible sols.
