- One sweet potato
- A glass jar or container

- Week 1-2: Roots begin to develop from the bottom of the sweet potato submerged in water.
- Week 2-4: Shoots or sprouts start emerging from the top part of the sweet potato.
- Week 4-6: The shoots grow longer and develop into vines with leaves.
- Maintenance: Ensure the water level is maintained, changing the water every few days to prevent stagnation and mould growth.
