Three points A, B and C are marked in the above given diagram of the current-carrying solenoid. Out of the three points A, B and C, at which point is the magnetic field strength maximum and at which point is it minimum?

उत्तर
- Point C (Inside the Solenoid): The magnetic field is maximum and uniform. The field lines inside a solenoid are parallel to its axis, indicating a constant magnetic strength at all points inside.
- Point B (Outside the Solenoid): The magnetic field is negligible or zero. Outside a long solenoid, the magnetic fields produced by individual loops cancel each other out.
- Point A (Near the Edge): The magnetic field is diverging and weaker than at point C. At the ends of a solenoid, the field strength is approximately half of what it is at the centre.
