उत्तर
India's transportation system is more developed and dense than that of Brazil. Roads transport approximately 85% of people and 70% of freight, while waterways account for approximately 1% of transport, but water bodies handle 95% of foreign trade. The railways are extremely important in India, and they are the reason the economy has improved significantly. The railway network is not very dense in the hilly states, of Rajasthan, and Central India. In the northern plains, the network is denser, and they are the preferred mode of transportation for longer distances.
