उत्तर

Given:

Surface area of a solid sphere =1256 cm2, π = 3.14

The sphere is cut into two hemispheres.

To Find: Total surface area of one hemisphere.

Step 1: Find the radius of the sphere

Surface area of sphere  = 4πr2

4πr2 = 1256

4 × 3.14 × r2 = 1256

12.56 r2 = 1256

`r^2 = 1256/12.56 = 100`

r = 10 cm

Total surface area of a hemisphere = 3πr2

TSA = 3 × 3.14 × 100

TSA = 942 cm2
