I am writing to you as a concerned resident of Prem Vihar, residing at 709, Gold Apartments, Amar Nagar. The street lights in our locality are not functioning correctly, resulting in dark stretches and blind spots at night. This lack of proper illumination has given rise to an alarming increase in chain and mobile snatching incidents, compromising the safety and security of our community members.
The absence of well-lit streets not only emboldens criminals but also poses a significant risk to pedestrians and commuters returning home during the evening. It is disheartening to see our once safe neighborhood plagued by such avoidable incidents, merely due to inadequate maintenance of street lighting.
We urgently request the concerned authorities to address this matter by repairing the non-functional street lights promptly.
