The space between the cell wall and plasma membrane in a plasmolysed cell is filled with hypertonic solution.
Explanation:
When a cell is put in a hypertonic solution (where the concentration of solutes is higher outside than that inside the cell); the water molecules move more outside the cell than inside, this results in cell shrinkage which is called plasmolysis i.e., shrinkage of protoplasm.
