Let the list price of the washing machine be ₹ x then.

Amount of sales tax = ₹ `((x xx 10)/(100))= ₹ x/(10)`

∴ Selling price of washing maching = `x + x/(10)`

⇒ 13,350 = `x + x/(10)`

⇒ `(11x)/(10) = 13,530`

⇒ x = ₹ 12.300.

∴ List price of the washing machine be ₹ 12,300.
