उत्तर
Mark Twain makes a light-hearted comparison between people and dogs in the passage above. He does this because dogs are trustworthy, devoted, and loving, while humans are self-centred, unappreciative, and judgmental. He thinks that his dog is superior to people. Dogs never harbour resentment toward anyone. They are neither malevolent nor narrow-minded. Rather, they are constantly tender and affectionate. They teach us many valuable lessons. Mark Twain said the aforementioned phrase because of animals’ good qualities.
