उत्तर

We have,

The length of a room is double its breadth and height is 3 m. If the area of four walls is 108 m2,

Let the breadth of a room be x metres

Then the length of a room will be 2x metres

Now we know that,

Curved surface area of a cuboid is 2(l + b) × h

Then, area of four walls is 2(2x + x) × 3

2(2x + x) × 3 = 108

18x = 108

x = 6 m

Then, the length of the room is 6 m

And the breadth of the room is 2 × 6 = 12 m

Now, the volume of the room = (Length) × (Breadth) × (Height)

= 6 × 12 × 3

= 216 cm3

Therefore, the volume of the room is 216 cm3.
