उत्तर

Rise of Nationalism: The sacrifices of the great Indian leaders during the revolt gave birth to nationalistic movement in India. Nana Sahib, Laxmi Bai, Bahadur Shah became national celebrities. The revolt soon became a challenge to the mighty British empire and the memory of it caused greater damage to the British rule in India than the revolt itself.
