उत्तर
Given, M.P. of the TV = Rs.43200
Discount = 16%
`"S.P."/"M.P." = 1 - "discount"/(100)`
⇒ `"S.P."/(43200) = 1 - (16)/(100)`
⇒ S.P. = `(84)/(100) xx "Rs.43200"`
= Rs.36288
Gain = 26%
`"S.P."/"C.P." = 1 + "gain"/(100)`
⇒ `(36288)/"C.P." = 1 + (26)/(100)`
⇒ C.P. = `(100)/(126) xx "Rs.36288"`
= Rs.28800
New S.P.
= Rs.43200 - Rs.9000
= Rs.34200
Gain
= Rs.34200 - Rs.28800
= Rs.5400
∴ Gain%
= `"gain"/"C.P." xx 100`
= `(5400)/(28800) xx 100`
= 18.75%.
