उत्तर

Given that the catalogue price of the laptop = Rs.43200
S.P. after the discount
= Rs.43200 -Rs. `(16)/(100) xx 43200`
= Rs.43200 - Rs.6912
= Rs.36288
C.P. = S.P. - Profit
= Rs.36288 - Profit
So, Profit%
= `"profit"/"C.P." xx 100`

⇒ 26 = `"profit"/(36288 - "profit") xx 100`
⇒ 26(36288 -  Profit) = profit x 100
⇒ 943488 - 26 profit = 100 profit
⇒ 94388 = 126 profit
⇒ profit = `(943488)/(126)`
⇒ profit = Rs.7488
So, C.P. = Rs.36288 - Rs.7488
= Rs.28800
If S.P. = Rs.43200 - Rs.9000
= Rs.34200
Since, S.P. > C.P., so again was made
= Rs.34200 - Rs.28800
= Rs.5400
Profit%
= `(5400)/(28800) xx 100`
= 18.75%
Hence, the gainpercent would be 18.75%.
