The film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is based on the famous novel written by J. K. Rowling. It was directed by Chris Columbus. The main cast includes Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger.

The important characters are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Professor Dumbledore, Hagrid and Lord Voldemort.

The story is about a young boy named Harry Potter who discovers that he is a wizard. He joins Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he makes new friends and learns magic. Harry and his friends later discover a secret connected with the Philosopher’s Stone and try to protect it from falling into the wrong hands.

The film is full of adventure, friendship, mystery and magic. The acting, special effects and exciting story make it enjoyable to watch.
