After 4 months, Teena’s share increases by 50%.

i.e. `7/2 + (7/2 xx 50/100) = 7/2 + 7/4`

i.e. `21/4`

The profit will be shared in the proportion of products of capital and respective time periods in months.

i.e. `7/2 xx 4 + 21/4 xx 8 : 4/3 xx 12 : 6/5 xx 12`

i.e. `56 : 16 : 72/5` i.e. `7 : 2 : 9/5`

i.e. in the proportion 35 : 10 : 9  ..............[[Multiplying throughout by 5]

Given that profit at the end of one year = ₹ 21,600/- 

∴ Leena’s share in the profit = `10/54 xx 21,600`

= `5/27 xx 21,600 = 5 xx 800 = 4000`

∴ Leena’s share in the profit is ₹ 4000/-.
