1. Sarojini Naidu (15 naya paisa): Born Sarojini Chattopadhyay in Hyderabad in 1879, Sarojini Naidu was an activist, poet, and freedom fighter. She served as both the first governor of the United Provinces following India’s independence and the first female president of the Indian Congress. Because of the vivid imagery and poetic quality of her poetry, Mahatma Gandhi dubbed her ‘The Nightingale of India.’ ‘In the Bazaars of Hyderabad,’ ‘The Bangle Sellers,’ ‘Indian Weavers,’ and ‘Coromandel Fishers’ are a few of her well-known poems.
2. Kishore Kumar (₹ 5.00): He was born in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, as Abhas Kumar Ganguly. He was Ashok Kumar’s younger brother.
